What items are applicable for returns? 

Returns are applicable on all regular priced items. This does not include lifestyle, lingerie products, all sale items, and all other items stated under the item description. 

All returned items must be in their original condition, unwashed, unworn and unaltered, with the tags intact. An inspection will be done to ensure that item(s) are in resellable condition before the store credit will be issued. Item(s) that does not meet our policy will not be accepted and a top-up payment for redelivery will be required. 

A processing fee of $2 will be charged for every apparel item returned. This fee will be deducted from the store credits that will be issued back to you.

How to return? 

  1. Email us at  with your order number, and let us know the item(s) you wish to return within 7 days from the delivery date & 14 days for Amethyst Members. Please wait for our confirmation before proceeding with the next step.

Postage charges will be borne by customers, and normal mail parcels will not be accepted.

For returns via Ninja Van

  1. Scan the QR code on the tracking label included in your order parcel and input the necessary sender and recipient details.
  2. Proceed with the delivery payment of $3.50.
  3. Pack the items in a polymailer and paste the tracking label provided.

Drop off the parcel at any of the available PUDO points within 3 days and share the tracking information with us.

For returns via Singpost, Qxpress or GrabExpress

  1. Pack the item(s) in an appropriate packaging to prevent it from being damaged/stained during transit. You may use any plastic packaging, polymailer or the original packaging.
  2. Cut out the sticker label from the parcel’s packaging and include it in the returned parcel before sealing it. If you have misplaced/disposed it, you may indicate the order number on a piece of paper instead. Please note that unidentified parcels will not be processed, so do remember to include your order number and/or sticker label into your parcel.

Send out the parcel via a trackable mode of courier. Feel free to approach the nearest local post office for assistance.

Can I drop off my return parcel at your warehouse or in-stores? 

No, all online orders cannot be returned/exchanged in-stores and self-drop-offs at our warehouse are not allowed. 

If you wish to drop off your return parcels at our retail stores, a courier fee of $7.50 will be deducted from the store credits issued as payment for the courier service to send the items back to our warehouse.

Is cash refund allowed?  

No, we will strictly provide no cash refunds. All refunds are to be credited via store credits. 

Store credit issued is applicable on multiple purchases and can only be used online. 

How do I use the store credits? 

Upon checkout, select the option “I’d Like To Use My Credit For This Purchase” after selecting your preferred shipping method. 

Next, input the amount you would like to use. The deduction should be reflected on the review order page. 

Please ensure that the amount is accurately reflected before proceeding with the payment, as we will not be able to cancel or apply it after your order has been placed. 

How long is the validity of the return store credits?

All return store credits are only valid for 90 days from date of issue. There'll strictly be no extension of validity.

Can I return orders made with a return store credit? 

No. All orders placed with a return store credit are not eligible for another return/exchange.

What items are applicable for exchanges? 

Exchanges are applicable on all regular items. This does not include lifestyle, lingerie products, or all items purchased under sale conditions. 

All exchange items must be in their original condition, unwashed, unworn, and unaltered, with the tags intact. An inspection will be done to ensure that items are in resellable condition before the exchange can be accepted. 

During the checking process at the time of purchase, kindly inform our retail staff of any issues with the item. Stains or defects identified afterwards are not applicable for return/exchange. 

Item(s) that do not meet our policy will not be accepted. 

Can I return item(s) purchase from the retail stores? 

Retail purchases cannot be returned for store credit, it can only be exchanged for an item of the same pricing or higher. The exchange for higher price item(s) will require additional top up. 

How to exchange? 

Exchange of eligible item(s) can be made within 7 days from the date of purchase & 14 days for Amethyst Members at any of our retail stores.

To check on your exchange eligibility, you may approach our retail staff at our Bugis / Tampines / Takashimaya outlet or email us at enquiries@theclosetlover.com with your 6-digit receipt number. 

All exchanges are subjected to item availability at the respective outlet.
